Jingle Bells
heavens, i haven't posted in awhile! :Oi've been really busy...(yes, yes, excuses i know) i shall make up for it with a looong post =)
well, anyway, today was the first day of winter break! (for me) tomorrow i will be dragging myself/falling out of bed at 5:00am before my dad can wake me up by singing jingle bells at the top of his lungs, leaving at 6:00am, and enduring a tedius 8 hour car ride to Maryland for Christmas while watching my sister's barbie movies. Won't that be a joy? *sigh* and i've lost my wonderful ability to sleep for an entire car ride =[
anyway, i'm looking forward to seeing my cousin, because he may be a little man bitch at his house but we get along swimmingly at my grandparents' ^^ and apparently my grandpa got kinect for his xbox, so i get almost a week to use it >:D
i'm also quite excited to go to Dave & Buster's, which we do every year. What is that, you ask? it's a place with arcade games where you win tickets for prizes and a restaraunt and bar. hmm? NO, it's NOT like Chuck E Cheese. -_- anyway (yes, i say anyway too much, it's not my fault i get off topic) do you know that game where the little flashy light goes around a circle and you have to press a button to make it stop, and you try to stop it on the high number to get that many tickets? WELL. i am the master of the spinning button press ticket wheel. i'm not one to brag but *ehem* i won the 1,000 ticket jackpot 8 times in 2 1/2 hours last year >:D with that and the other games i had 12,000 tickets and got Halo 3 for my xbox! (hehehehe)
I also need to buy a winter jacket ~~~BECAUSE~~~i just found out i can go with my friend to her aunt's house to snowboard because i'm going to be home in time!!! =D i'm really excited! We went snowboarding last year with a bunch of friends, but we didn't get a lesson (ahaha, that totally wasnt my fault...) so it was really hard. so this time we WILL get a lesson! This winter i'm going to get everyone together again to snowboard, but this time hopefully everyone can come! (yes Ashley, i'm talking about you, come snowboarding this year =D!!!)
Well, i shall be going now, have to go pack....FUN....

Track
So, Happy December, Christmas is approaching, but right now is track season. I'm doing sprinting and hurdles. I'm not very good with sprints, but i think i'm starting t get the form down with hurdles, and i've been really enjoying it! It's especially fun doing it with my friends, not and not just for the endless supply of entertainment but for advice too! it's always good to have people watching and ready to help you improve.Speaking of people providing advice, my coach is okay but i LOVE the boy's track coach. He'll always come over to the hurdles when we're working on them and take a lot of his time helping us with form. He pulls each of us aside and tells us what we have to work on, and then shows us drills. And he isn't even our coach! it's really helpful, especially when our real coach didn't even make an attempt at explaining how to do hurdles. Yeesh.
Well, anyway, it's pretty painful having track 6 days a week (horrible shin splints, knee problems) and i think it's that way for everyone, but i think it'll get better after maybe one more week. and hopefully i'll get a little faster with all this running, because i'm so slow!

Template (sequel to Backround)
ok...so i have a new backround template thing! isn't it just gorgeous? no i didn't make it this time. (the other times being on my Gaia profile) You see, i was trying to save myself some work. However, since it was not made by me, the layouts genious (yea, right), of course there were defects. -_- all of the words were smooshed together, because whatever silly person made this put the padding at neative two. Why would they do that? So, i had to sort through ALL THE STUPID CODING and find the right padding...which i made higher (hence the very spaced out letters) and then there were MORE problems so i had to change the vertical spacing on the post headings...and just when i thought i was done i realized that the previously mentioned silly person made the dates of the posts white and big and standy-outish instead of the titles, and made the dates on top in stead of below. So, now i have to go BACK into ALL THE STUPID CODING and change that...and i have to make the default font size larger so you can actually read stuff...im too lazy for all this...grr....
its so much more fun to make layouts for other people... (i say "more fun" but this isn't fun. -_- especially at 11:00 at night.)

Thanksgiving!
So! How was thanksgiving?meh, who cares about you. i'll tell you about mine :P
i went over to my aunt's house, hung out with my cousins. Somehow "hung out" became Raffy and I going at each other with a stick and a bat. -sigh- children these days. i got his hat out of it, though.
The turkey was pretty good, but my personal fave is mashed patotoes. hot. with gravy. yummm~ =)
and i hate stuffing. Also, apparently you can eat the turkey's heart. did you know that? one of my friends told me she loves it... -_- yuckkk. (i wonder if it's squishy...?)
I also got a birthday present from my aunt
...My birthay was in july
....and it was a book about fashion...
....awkward.
oh well, at least she makes good cake ^^
speaking of cake, my assessment:
apple something-or-other=*****! oreo and chocalate ice cream cake=***1/2 (wish it was vanilla)
unidentified=**** key lime pie= 0 yuck!
we also did our family tradition: everyone answers three questions (the 3 Q's are the same for everyone) and we put them in a bowl and draw them at random and read em one at a time and try to guess who's who.
